In August 1999 three human rights watch researchers were captured crossing the border from Rwanda into the DRC.

Within half an hour they would have to decide and choose which one of them would be executed at the proposed time of 05:42.

What followed was 30 minutes of psycological torture, drama, betrayal and the ultimate fight between them to make alliances with each other to survive the final decision they themselves would have to make.
