The Jackson family are waiting nervously for a good
result for their mother, in hospital, awaiting a desperately
needed transplant. The three men of the family are left
to deal with life and each other.
Set in common suburbia, it is a story of a family, forced
to deal with lonlieness, desperation and frustration. The
three men fall apart, ultimately leading to the structure
of the family being changed forever.
Roughen is the story of how we cope not with crisis,
but the breakdowns that arise from it.
